Burton-based brewing corporation Molson Coors is to start selling cannabis-infused drinks – but only in Canada. Molson Coors Canada, the Canadian business unit of Molson Coors Brewing Company, and Canadian cannabis producer, The Hydropothecary Corporation, have formed a joint venture to develop non-alcoholic, cannabis-infused beverages for the Canadian market following legalisation for recreational use. Medical cannabis expected to be available on prescription within a month

Medical cannabis will be available on prescription – by specialists only – in the UK within a month, according to the Telegraph. The Home Secretary Sajid Javid is expected to confirm the rescheduling of cannabis-derived medicines in Parliament within two weeks, lifting restrictions which mean that until now it has only been allowed in the most exceptional circumstances.
