The Who frontman, Roger Daltry last night threatened to cut a show short on Long Island after a fan was seen smoking a joint. The singer complained that it was bad for his vocal chords and compromised his performance.
The 71 year old singer struggled to take off his oxygen mask to enable him to tell off the audience member, “I’m doing my best”, “I think it might be Super Skunk though” he gasped before collapsing and having to get a paramedic on stage.
The online reaction has ranged from surprised to damn right outraged and the latest count is 4 cities to have ceremonial burning of The Who’s first 3 albums – but only after one last spliff was rolled in the cover.
Pete Townshend who plays the guitar when he isn’t spending hours on end trawling the internet chimed in and told the paying concert goer to shove the joint up his arse “Eat it up your f****** a***, it’s the quickest way” after chants came from the crowd to “eat it”.
Leaving the stage the ageing band members were interviewed about the incident.
“I’ve been using CBD suppositories for years to treat my on stage aggression” Said a sweaty Pete.
“At first it was just for research purposes, but now I actually quite enjoy the process.”
Daltry who gave up smoking when Jimi Hendrix died is an avid poster on fuckcombustion.com saying “Come on, it’s 2015 who still smokes now when there’s so many sweet vapes to choose from!”

The band have decided to team up with GW Pharmaceuticals to launch a new range of Official Pete Townshend shaped suppositories ready for release in 2017.
